Here are a few of our favorite productivity hacks.

  1. Set recurring alarms. I know. We all (or at least most of us) hit snooze way more than we should in the morning however it is still helpful to have the alarm set day after day to establish a schedule. Consider doing the same for recurring meetings. The alarm could be set on your phone or by your calendar as your reminder.
  2. Recurring “Do Not Disturb” mode. This is a lifesaver. It is so easy to get pulled away from an important task or meeting if your phone makes the slightest noise or movement. We are trained like Pavlov’s dog to immediately drop what we are doing to reach for the phone to see who needed us, what is going on in the world, or what promotional email we just received. AKA not worth interrupting your workflow. Establish DND time blocking for your most productive hours in the office.
  3. Sign up for Seriously. This is the best for Inbox Zero goals. will help you unsubscribe from all those unwanted email lists you’ve accumulated over the years.
